OAK BEACH RESORT waterfront cottages are located on the south-west corner of Houghton Lake where the prevailing south/west wind "generally" blows over the back of the resort toward the water and creates a tranquil effect. Oak Beach Resort is a true "BEACH" where we have a natural, sloping sandy play area along the water's edge. Our sandy bay is perfect for activities like swimming, water skiing and fishing. We are nestled into the same quiet side street as the NAVAJO TRADING POST GIFT SHOP right near the 55, Old 27 intersection. We are within walking distance to restaurants like COYLE'S, SUBWAY AND BIG BOY.  Great golfing is just around the corner and Kmart is within a mile.  We are less than 100 miles from Saginaw, Bay City and Midland! Vacation for less than a tank of gas!

Our themed cottages have old-fashioned charm with modern conveniences. Each cottage has air conditioning units, microwaves, DVD players, televisions, cable TV, wireless internet and many more conveniences. They are each outfitted with essential kitchen necessities: dishes, pots and pans, toasters, coffee makers.  Our newest renovations include ceramic tiled bathroom floors and new carpet!  We have tried to make sure that our guests have the all the comforts they need to "get away" with ease. Each unit has a unique theme and is a comfortable vacation getaway for you and your family.

Our grounds are equipped with row boats (included in your stay), paddleboat (included in your stay), rental pontoons, fish cleaning shanty, basketball, tetherball, carpet ball table, pingpong table, fire pits (some portable) and play area for the small vacationers.  We have room at our dock for you to bring your own boat!  With great boating, swimming, fishing, and relaxation at your doorstep, OAK BEACH RESORT is the place for you!!

Don't forget that SCHOOL STARTS AFTER LABOR DAY IN MICHIGAN , so COME FOR LABOR DAY!
